When to Visit - Arts and Events For Orlando itself the main annual event is the Silver Spring Rodeo which at 50,000 spectators is the largest rodeo in the Eastern US. Every day is festival day at Walt Disney World with the addition of the Oldsmobile Scramble and Classic for amateur and professional golfers held in October.
Orlando Dining The restaurants in the area are divided between those in the Disney complex and those in Orlando town. The town has plenty to offer in the way of local Florida cuisine while the luxury hotels listed will have a wider International cooking style to suit all tastes. Orlando Tipping Advice Tipping is more or less compulsory. In restaurants waiters expect around 15-20%, as do taxi drivers and hairdressers, while porters and bellboys anticipate around $1 or $2 per piece of luggage. You are not expected to tip in fast-food restaurants or cinemas.
Orlando Climate Orlando, Florida can boast hot and sunny weather throughout the year. The warmest months are July and August when temperatures can rise to 90 degrees F. In the cooler months, October through March, temperatures tend to be in the region of 70 degrees F. However, you should be aware that Florida is prone to heavy rain showers and the humidity can get quite high.
